The 2019 Ford Ranger Undergoes Testing

The mid-sized Ford Ranger pickups are being submitted to extensive testing before the manufacturer releases them to the public. Some of the tests are taking place in laboratory conditions and include subjecting the trucks to the harsh conditions created by robots. The pickups have also been going through grueling road tests everywhere from the punishing Australian Outback to the desert sands of Arizona.

Ford wants to ensure that the Ranger pickups will have the durability to stand up to all types of outdoor and off-road adventures. The new trucks will come equipped with the patented "Terrain Management System." The package comes complete with blind spot monitoring and trail control in addition to having trailer support technology. Ford also plans on offering a number of new features to make the pickups work and recreation ready.

Whether you are in the market for a new work truck or a stylish recreation vehicle, we have the options at Grapevine Ford.
