Last week, Lincoln Motor Company issued a press release proudly announcing the latest recognition for its premium 2017 MKZ sedan. Thanks to a reinforced modified front end structure and advanced front crash prevention system, the vehicle earned a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
In order to be eligible for the institute's highest rating, the MKZ had to earn the highest score of "good" for all five crashworthiness assessments. Furthermore, the front crash prevention system helped avoid collisions in both 12 and 25 mpg, earning the system a rating of "superior".
In addition to the MKZ's front crash prevention system, the luxury sedan offers a full suite of available advanced safety and driver assistance features such as a lane-keeping system and a blind spot information system with cross-traffic alert.
