Renowned for its blend of work-ready capability and electric efficiency, the F-150 Lightning ranks among the best electric trucks available. It shares the celebrated Ford F-150 architecture but uses an all-electric powertrain instead of a gasoline engine. The latest Lightning brings minor updates to the standard package and now offers a mobile charging cord with an NACS adapter.

What Are the 2025 F-150 Lightning Trims & Features?

The 2025 Lightning lineup comprises five trims.

The Pro base model features vinyl seats and flooring, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a factory trailer hitch. Tech highlights include satellite radio, a digital instrument cluster, a 12-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 120V outlet. It rides on 18-inch wheels, has LED headlights, and supports DC fast charging.

The XLT trim swaps vinyl for carpeted floors, adds a power-adjustable driver's seat, a leather steering wheel, extra under-seat storage, and enhanced safety technology.

The Flash trim upgrades to larger 20-inch wheels, a power tailgate with integrated step, a 15.5-inch touchscreen, a heated steering wheel, push-button start, and keyless entry. It also includes wireless charging, an upgraded eight-speaker B&O sound system, BlueCruise hands-free driving, and additional safety features.

Lariat upgrades include a dual-panel sunroof, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, and leather upholstery.

At the top is Platinum, offering 22-inch wheels, a 14-speaker premium audio system, massaging front seats, upscale leather trim, a towing package, and Pro Power Onboard delivering 9.6 kW.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2025 F-150 Lightning Have?

With the standard battery, dual motors deliver 452 hp and 775 lb-ft of torque. The extended-range battery on higher trims boosts output to 580 hp and increases range.
