Last month, five of our team members had a chance to participate in Ford's EcoBoost Challenge, a free interactive event that gave local drivers the opportunity to try out some of Ford's latest vehicles on special closed-course tracks, while also giving them a sneak peek of upcoming 2015 models.
The event's organizers held a separate gathering for dealership employees on Friday, May 16 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at AT&T Park, which we were thrilled to take part in. Several of our staff members got to drive the 2014 Fiesta ST on an exciting timed track after receiving professional training from instructors at the "ST Performance Academy." They also got to perform test-drive comparisons of the 2014 Fusion, Escape and F-150 against some of their top competitors and, unsurprisingly, the Fords were their favorites!
The following day, on Saturday, May 17, the EcoBoost Challenge was open to the public and over 600 Dallas area residents attended! That's twice as many as last year. Just like our staff, local drivers got to compare Ford models against the competition and take the 2014 Fiesta ST through a high-speed course. Overall, both events were a huge success and we can't wait for the EcoBoost Challenge crew to return next year with new Ford models!
