Last month, we were proud to participate in Keep Grapevine Beautiful's EPIC Earth Day. Grapevine Ford was one of the sponsors for the event, which featured live entertainment, concessions, a kid eco-play area and speakers like Chad Pregracke, who was named "2013 CNN Hero of the Year." The event also featured a unique Eco House where visitors received interactive lessons that highlighted easy ways to make living spaces more environmentally friendly.
In addition, many of the event's attendees came to drop off their old laptops, mobile phones, computers and other electronics for eCyling at the "Recycle Alley," and there was a vendor area with displays from numerous local businesses who implement green practices. Grapevine Ford was excited to join the vendor expo and would like to thank everyone who stopped by to check out the collection of eco-friendly cars and hybrids that we had on display! We felt privileged to take part in a fun, family-friendly event that promotes environmental awareness and we look forward to participating again next year.
EPIC Earth Day is held in conjunction with the annual Don't Mess with Texas Trash-Off and Great American Cleanup, a national program enacted to promote community improvement in cities across the country.
