Ford Marverick

Although it hasn't been officially released yet, Ford is developing a new compact pickup truck. Details about the latest truck from Ford have yet to be confirmed, but it's likely to be named Maverick. The Ford Maverick will be a bit shorter and smaller overall than the Ranger, which is Ford's midsize pickup truck. Although it will resemble Ford's other pickup trucks in design, with its aesthetics borrowed from the legendary "F" series, the Maverick could be built on the same platform used by the Bronco Sport.

Design and Appearance

The 2022 Ford Maverick is slated to have a shorter and more compact truck bed than its Ford truck peers. The 2022 Maverick will likely come with one type of truck bed, which is called the SuperCab. This configuration gives the Maverick a four-door design and a spacious second row. The Maverick may borrow some aggressive styling cues from its F-series cousins, including a muscular and squared front end. Bold headlights may also grace this Ford's exterior.

Interior and Amenities

While it may have a chiseled and rugged look on the outside, the Maverick would most likely have a comfortable and spacious cabin with two rows of seats. Ford has yet to confirm if the Maverick will have just two seats in the front row or if it will have a bench-style seating layout with the capacity to hold three people in front. As with most vehicles, Ford is expected to offer the Maverick in several different trims, with various levels of creature comforts and conveniences. Plenty of storage space is expected to highlight all trim levels, which will make the cabin feel even more spacious. The 2022 Maverick is also projected to have standard automatic climate control and technology that is easy to reach and use.
