Ford CEO Jim Farley Says EV Production Will Double This Year

Ford stands as a pioneer in the automotive world and is recognized virtually everywhere. Its top-notch vehicles have revolutionized both the U.S. and global markets. The industry is charging ahead with increased electric vehicle (EV) production.

Ford to Double EV Production

In a statement, CEO Jim Farley confirmed Ford's intent to double its EV output this year, at home in the U.S. and at its international plants. The company already manufactures the Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning domestically and exports these popular models globally. Current EV output is around 100,000 units annually; Ford's target is 250,000 by 2025's close.

Ford's Electric Vehicles

The Mustang Mach-E is among Ford's best-selling EVs. It is an SUV that blends spirited performance with striking design. It offers multiple powertrain choices, around 320 miles of range, and one of the segment's most attractive price points.

Equally impressive is the F-150 Lightning. This electric pickup offers roughly 240 miles per charge, lively acceleration for its class, and serious towing muscle.
