Ford's Integrated Services division now has a new leader: Michael Aragon. Known for his stints at Lululemon Digital Fitness, PlayStation Network, and Crunchyroll, Aragon brings a stellar résumé to his new role.
Michael Aragon's Fresh Start at Ford
Ford has a long history of enlisting top executives, and Aragon succeeds Peter Stern, now President of Peloton Interactive. The Ford community is abuzz with anticipation about the directions he'll chart.
Highlighting his priorities in his first address, Aragon spoke about his passion for richer in-cab experiences: “We can spark new in-cabin experiences and services that feel seamless and contextual for our customers.” He'll oversee enhancements to Ford BlueCruise, Ford Pro software, and Model e products.
Aragon is determined to grow Ford's subscription services beyond the current 800,000+ paid users. CEO Mike Farley praises Aragon's vision and leadership skills, touting him as the perfect fit to drive Integrated Services forward.
Farley elaborated on Ford+ as the cornerstone of the brand's strategy: “The heart of the Ford+ plan is to match our iconic and trusted vehicles with incredible services and experiences that will improve the lives of our customers and help businesses succeed.” On choosing Aragon, he said, “Mike is the right leader to build on our early success with Integrated Services and help Ford capture this immense growth opportunity.”
With a resume that includes leadership roles at leading Fortune 500 companies, Aragon officially joined Ford on March 17. He holds a degree from the University of New Mexico and an MBA from Dartmouth, and he's been instrumental in the success of platforms like Twitch. Ford expects his tenure to bring considerable gains.
