Specs at a Glance

The 2021 Ford Mustang continues to excite muscle car fans. Not only does the new Mustang offer all-day driving fun, but it also makes comfort a top priority. Furthermore, a number of great features are available. Let’s find out how the Mustang GT Fastback compares to the Mustang GT Premium Fastback.

These Mustang trims offer the same thrilling level of performance. Under the hood rests a 5.0-liter V8 engine. It cranks out a thrilling 460 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. You can choose between a standard six-speed manual transmission with rev-matching and an optional 10-speed automatic transmission. A blistering 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds puts the Mustang GT among the quickest models in the class. Ford’s optional Performance Package transforms the Mustang into a more aggressive driving machine featuring a sport-tuned suspension and Brembo brakes.

No other car on the street looks like the 2021 Ford Mustang. Signature LED headlights, and sequential LED taillights come standard. An active exhaust system with quad tips enhances the car’s powerful appearance. To promote a bold stance, Ford equips the Mustang GT Fastback with 18-inch alloy wheels. However, you can opt for larger 19-inch wheels with performance tires. Several eye-catching paint colors are available, including Twister Orange and Grabber Yellow. From an appearance standpoint, the GT Fastback and GT Premium Fastback trims look almost identical.

Ford equips the Mustang GT Fastback with many appealing features. A standard Wi-Fi hotspot enables you to stay connected to the web. Meanwhile, a cool Track Apps feature allows you to access performance data. Other standard equipment includes keyless ignition, a six-speaker stereo, and FordPass. Don’t forget about Ford Co-Pilot360, which is a collection of advanced safety features.

Expect the leather-appointed Mustang GT Premium Fastback to offer a more luxurious driving experience. A nine-speaker premium audio system treats music fans to a powerful soundtrack. Technology lovers will especially enjoy Ford’s SYNC 3 infotainment system, which features an 8.0-inch color touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration. Dual-zone climate control and heated/ventilated front seats enhance comfort.
