Grapevine Dealer Researching the New Fusion Fusion

The always stylish Ford Fusion takes its place back in the midsize sedan segment this year with a small amount of new and updated features. While the 2016 Ford Fusion comes equipped with the same powertrain options for the new model year, its package options have grown to include two new collections. In addition to this change, the sedan sports a redesigned center stack inside the cabin that is much more functional than the previous arrangement. The latest Ford Fusion model arrives on the scene with a newly available S Appearance Package and SE Cold Weather Package. The former dresses up the Fusion with front fog lamps, a rear spoiler and Ebony black 18-inch alloy wheels, while the latter offers heated cloth seats, all-weather floor mates and Power Code Remote Start System. On top of these package options, the 2016 Ford Fusion in Grapevine has been fitted with a redesigned center stack that improves the user experience when utilizing the Ford SYNC infotainment system. A new Shadow Black exterior paint color has also been added to the color palette this year, which nicely complements the S Appearance Package.

A 2.5L four-cylinder is the standard engine offered on the 2016 Ford Fusion in Grapevine S and SE models. It delivers 175 horsepower and 175 lb.-ft. of torque, while working alongside a six-speed automatic transmission. Aside from this displacement, the SE is also available with a turbo 1.5L four-cylinder engine, generating 181 horsepower and 185 lb.-ft. of torque, as well as a turbo 2.0L four-cylinder, exerting 240 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque. The Fusion Titanium comes standard with the turbo 2.0L four-cylinder and can go from zero to 60 mph in 6.9 seconds, which makes it the quickest model in the lineup.
