Ford & SK On to Solidify Leadership in the Global Electric Vehicle Market Through BlueOval SK 
Ford Motor Company and South Korean battery manufacturer SK Innovation are to invest in new production facilities in Tennessee and Kentucky to increase the automaker's output of electric vehicles. Blue Oval City, a "mega campus" that Ford claims would be one of the biggest car production campuses in the United States, will be the first project. In addition to an electric vehicle battery plant run by the Ford-SK joint venture BlueOval SK, which will supply the vehicle facility, the 3,600-acre complex will house an assembly plant where Ford will build electric F-Series pickup trucks.
