If you are looking for a spacious car that you can fit your family in without the bulkiness of an SUV or crossover, the 2018 Ford Taurus Sedan is the car for you. It combines the function of a large vehicle with the style and design of a sedan.

2018 Ford Taurus Interior

While the changes to the 2018 Ford Taurus are minimal, that doesn't take away from the incredible and specious design. There is no longer a 2.0 EcoBoost engine on any trims.

Trim Differences

There are four trims on the 2018 Ford Taurus that tailor to your wants and needs.

The 2018 Ford Taurus SE comes equipped with single zone climate control air conditioning, power windows, Sync, cloth seating, and blind spot indicators.

The 2018 Ford Taurus SEL comes equipped with all of the features of the SE trim as well as dual zone climate control with automatic temperature control, optional intelligent access with push to start, and a remote start system. It also comes with Navigation with SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link, SiriusXM Radio, leather seats with heated fronts, optional power moonroof, reverse sensing system and a rear spoiler.

The 2018 Ford Taurus Limited comes equipped with all of the features of the SEL trim as well as ambient light, Intelligent access with push to start, wood and leather trimmed steering wheel, and a universal garage door opener. It also has a heated steering wheel, a sony audio system, Sync 3, heating and cooling front seats and heated back seats, rain sensing wipers and a limited front grille.

The 2018 Ford Taurus SHO comes equipped with all of the features of the Limited trim as well as aluminum pedals, rear power sunshade, SHO interior and exterior, and an optional collision warning system with brake support. It also has an EcoBoost Badge, and dual exhaust.

Ford Taurus Engine & Transmission

2018 Ford TaurusThe SE, SEL and Limited trims have a horse power of 288. The SHO trim has a horse power of 365. The SE, SEL and the Limited trims have an average of 18 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. The SHO trim has an average of 16 miles per gallon in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.

Excellent Safety Features

2018 Ford Taurus RearThe 2018 Ford Taurus comes with child rear safety locks, front seat airbags, the latch system for car seats, a safety canopy system, a tire pressure system, and an electronic stability control system. They also come equipped with an alarm and anti theft system and a post crash alert. Further, there are optional safety options that include blind spot monitors, lane keep assist, a self parking feature, a personal safety system, and a cross traffic alert system.
