2020 Ford Edge Under the hood of the 2020 Edge is a twin-scroll turbocharged 2.0-liter EcoBoost inline 4-cylinder (I4) engine with 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque on the SE, SEL, and Titanium trim. That leaves a 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 with 553 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque for the ST. Both engines have auto-start technology so that they shut down automatically when at a complete stop to avoid unnecessary fuel burning. In addition, each engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. While all-wheel drive is standard on the ST trim, the other three trims offer the choice between front-wheel and all-wheel drivetrains.
