What's New For the 2020 Ford Fusion?

For most of its 15 years of production, the Ford Fusion has impressed many with an exterior styling that is rather uncommon amongst midsize sedans. And over the past few years, the Fusion has backed this attribute with athletic handling, comfortable seats, and impressive tech features. The 2020 edition marks the end of its production run with no changes apart from the Sport trim being discontinued.

What are the Available Trims and Features for 2020?

There are four 2020 Ford Fusion trims, which are the S, the SE, the SEL, and the Titanium. As the base-level trim, the S provides interior features such as cloth upholstery, front seating that consists of a 6-way adjustable driver's seat and a 4-way adjustable passenger seat, 60/40 split-folding rear seats to expand cargo space, proximity key entry with push-button engine start, a 4.2-inch LCD driver-information display, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a four-speaker stereo system with AM/FM and a single-disc CD/MP3 player, and SYNC infotainment integration.

At the SE trim level, the Fusion is upgraded with features such as dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control, FordPass Connect for remote connectivity (as well as Wi-Fi hotspot capability), an additional 4.2-inch driver-information display, upgrade to SYNC 3, two additional speakers, and a trial subscription to SiriusXM radio. Front-seat heating, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 10-way power with power lumbar on the driver's seat, 6-way power on the front passenger seat, a driver-side memory system, synthetic seat trim, and remote start appear on the SEL.

The Titanium is the trim that offers the all-wheel-drive option for enhanced all-weather driving performance. Also unique to this trim are features like front-seat cooling, leather seat trim, steering-wheel heating, trial subscriptions to SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link, and a voice-activated navigation system.
