Ford F-150

What's New For the 2021 Ford F-150?

In the 2021 Ford F-150, we saw some drastic positive changes. You have a lot of great new things that have happened in the 2021 Ford F-150. The excellent features to expect in the 2021 model include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You also get a table and a bottle opener in the 2021 model. This new addition is good enough to give many of the other trucks a run for their money in its lineup. The most significant change you can expect with the 2021 Ford F-150 comes from its sudden willingness to adopt a hybrid engine.

2021 F-150 Trims & Features

When it comes to the different trim levels, you can choose from six choices: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited.

Along with these six trims, a seventh trim called the Raptor will come a little later to the F-150. You can choose the PowerBoost engine with this truck for optimal results with every trim level. PowerBoost means that you will have access to a hybrid twin-turbo V6 engine, and it works in partnership with a 35 kW electric engine.

You start with an 8.0-inch touchscreen that allows for Apple Carplay, but you can choose to upgrade to a 12.0-inch touchscreen for the maximum value with the XLT trim.

2021 Ford F-150 Horsepower

You have an impressive towing capacity of 12,000 pounds in terms of towing capacity, and the Ford F-150 gets the job done with room left over for someone who wants a light work truck. That said, you can also choose to upgrade to the F-250 or the F-350 if you want a powerful towing capacity for towing heavier loads.

What does this truck offer in the engine? First, you get a hybrid engine that works with both electric and gas. Because of the PowerBoost engine, you get an impressive range of 700 or more miles from a 30.6-gallon tank of gas. This equates to around 23 miles per gallon.

Ford F-150 Safety

The safety in the 2021 model distinguishes this truck from all the others in its class. Ford paid particular attention to the safety end of this pick-up, and you get some advanced safety features that have helped make this truck even better. For example, the active drive assist feature gives you partially automated driver-assist features that distinguish this truck from the others. Still, you need to keep your hands on the wheel, but you have a little more freedom with this technology than you previously could do.
