How Much Power Does the Ford Escape Have?

The base engine for the Ford Escape is a 1.5-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder engine, which produces 180 horsepower. However, for more acceleration ability, go with the turbocharged 250-horsepower 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder engine. Notably, the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder is standard on the Titanium and optional on the SE and SEL. Two hybrid options exist, both a variant of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder. The hybrid gets 165 HP and 155 lb-ft of torque, and the plug-in hybrid produces 221 HP.
