2021 Ford Mustang

What's New For the 2021 Ford Mustang?

The Ford Mustang, ever the iconic muscle car, has even more improvements in 2021. The Ford Mustang still has its powerful engines from the previous year, including a four-cylinder and a V8, that has no shortage of power and speed. This year, the Ford Mustang has a bold new trim in its lineup called the Mach 1 Limited Edition. The Mach 1 also gets an engine capable of churning out a respectable 480 HP. Some more safety features are added to certain trims of the Ford Mustang, too, including the CoPilot360 suite of safety aids on the EcoBoost trim levels and the midlevel GT trims. A quiet ride is a pleasant find for such a sporty car, and its cabin artfully blends modern amenities with a classic look.

Available Features in the 2021 Mustang

While the Mach 1 is a new addition to the line this year, you can still get the same trim levels from the past model year. The range includes EcoBoost and EcoBoost Premium as the base levels, followed by the GT and the GT Premium in the middle of the Mustang pack. There's plenty to appreciate for this year's Mustang, even at the entry-level, where you'll get keyless ignition, a 4.2-inch infotainment display system, and a sound system with six speakers.

By the time you reach the EcoBoost Premium, a nine-speaker sound system is standard instead. The Mustang has 17-inch wheels to start, while the higher-level trims upgrade to 18 to 20-inch wheels. Leather upholstery is standard, beginning with the EcoBoost Premium. The EcoBoost Premium also gets an eight-inch infotainment system that contains Sync 3. This trim level also has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The GT trim levels have a sportier appearance with power-adjustable front seats and the addition of parking sensors.
